Quality Assurance Technician
1st Shift - Monday - Friday 7am-3pm
We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician in Canonsburg, PA to join our Data Center Power & Control Division team. This position is responsible for ensuring that all purchased materials are reviewed for conformance to defined criteria using the necessary measurement and inspection equipment.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician in Canonsburg, PA to join our Data Center Power & Control Division team. This position is responsible for ensuring that all purchased materials are reviewed for conformance to defined criteria using the necessary measurement and inspection equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect all incoming materials to verify compliance with applicable drawings, specifications, and instructions.
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) on new part submissions.
- Record inspection results in a defined repository.
- Assist in resolving any issues related to nonconforming materials.
- Document and process nonconforming materials.
- Create and update test plans as needed.
- Adjust sampling based on historical inspection data.
- Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the incoming inspection process.
- Manage the movement of inspected items.
- Perform all duties in a timely manner, demonstrating teamwork, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
- Adhere to all company policies, guidelines, and practices.
- Assist the Quality team in investigating, containing, and controlling nonconforming materials.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of quality control inspection experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints is preferred.
- Familiarity with basic inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, functional gaging) is preferred.
- Ability to generate reports, effectively present information, and respond to inquiries.
- Proficiency in using Syteline, MQ1, and other systems.
- Willingness to learn Microsoft Office.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing concepts is preferred.
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Excellent verbal and written skills required.
- Ability to work independently.
- The performance of this position requires exposure to the receiving/shipping and manufacturing areas where, in certain areas, the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection are required.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
