Production Supervisor for Night Shift

This role requires excellent communication skills to relay important information to team members, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to perform their duties successfully. The Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as managing attendance records for direct reports.
Candidates should have previous manufacturing experience, with a college degree preferred. The position demands physical stamina, as it involves standing and walking for long shifts and lifting up to 50 pounds. A commitment to maintaining a clean work environment and adhering to safety protocols is essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to learn and execute job procedures independently while fostering a collaborative and productive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities:
- Learn to effectively manage and lead approximately 15-25 production employees to meet daily production, quality, and safety goals.
- Utilize knowledge and experience to analyze and troubleshoot equipment and machinery.
- Possess or attain a thorough understanding and working knowledge of our manufacturing process and related equipment, machinery, and systems, including proper setup and control settings.
- Communicate important information to all employees to ensure the smooth flow of materials/products and ensure employees have the necessary information to perform their job duties successfully.
- Maintain conformance to policies, rules, and procedures during the shift. Take appropriate coaching, counseling, and corrective action with non-conforming associates when necessary.
- Attain a high-level working knowledge of all Quality Control (QC) Systems and material/product testing equipment.
- Manage Kronos Time & Attendance daily for all direct report employees.
- Previous manufacturing experience is required.
- College degree preferred.
- Must be able to learn and perform all scheduled job procedures independently to keep the assigned job functioning at all times.
- Must be physically equipped to maintain an upright, walking position for twelve (12) hour shifts.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must keep work area and machines clean.
- Wear required personal protective equipment at all times and adhered to all safety rules and procedures.
